How much does a 10-day safari holiday in Botswana cost?

The cost of a 10-day safari package varies considerably depending on the camps, destinations and experiences included. Based on the Wilderness itineraries featured above, you can look at paying between USD15,500 and USD 34,400 per person. These prices include accommodation, meals, safari activities and specified transfers, with selected experiences such as helicopter or hot-air-balloon flights included and detailed on select itineraries. International flights, travel insurance, gratuities and personal purchases are generally excluded. Because safari pricing varies by season and availability, a final quote can be provided by a Wilderness Travel Designer.

Can you combine a 10-day safari itinerary in Botswana with another destination? 

Yes, a 10-day safari can include Botswana and another destination, and doing so is a good way to add variety to your itinerary. Botswana combines particularly well with Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa. You may also decide to combine multiple Botswana safari parks and lodges within one 10-day itinerary. For this particular length of trip, it is generally best to limit the itinerary to around three camps so you have enough time to settle into each place rather than spending too much of the holiday in transit.
