The best time for the iconic Flight of Angels helicopter ride over Victoria Falls is generally during the dry season, from May to October. This period offers the most reliable conditions for clear, uninterrupted views. The water levels in the Zambezi River and Victoria Falls have started to subside from their peak flow, which means the Falls become more visible from the air without the abundance of spray and mist but are still impressive. This time of year also allows you to appreciate the full scale of the gorge.

Can I combine a helicopter safari with a ground safari?
