My background

The essence of a safari is togetherness – with your companions and with nature. Every moment is a chance to make memories and learn about the world. I’m passionate about helping others experience this unique connection and can’t wait to share it with you.

Born in America’s Pacific Northwest, I was fortunate to grow up with wildlife in our garden: bears, bobcats, deer, and other creatures. I have long been enamoured with animals, so when my family went on safari in South Africa in 2009 it was game over. The ‘Africa bug’ bit me.

In every journey through the bush, one finds more than just the thrill of the wild; one discovers a deeper understanding of life itself
Sir Stewart Gore-Browne

I returned to the States to finish my schooling and relocated to South Africa as soon as I graduated. I spent the following decade managing luxury safari and beach destinations across South Africa, Eswatini, Malawi, and Kenya. I am an extremely passionate bird watcher (life list of 700+) and a lover of wine. I became a certified sommelier in 2020. Walking safaris are my favourite, as I love seeing all the small things the bush has to offer; encountering game on foot is a thrill second to none. I also love riding safaris – being on horseback gives you a whole different perspective on bush dynamics. But honestly, in my experience there is no such thing as a bad safari.

Hear from my clients

I just want to say thank you so much for helping me out with the trip. We had an amazing time. We were very well taken care of; I was just blown away with the service and your company. We were all very happy, and for sure I’ll recommend you to all my friends intending to go to Africa

It was a sensational trip, everything was perfect. The places were magnificent, but also the accommodation and the kindness of the staff. Bisate and Magashi are two dream destinations. We ate very well and always felt special

Camilla S

The whole schedule worked like clockwork. Expect us to be back in the future; as I am heading into retirement we can go any time of the year. Best regards and thank you for your good service!
