My background

Curious by nature and passionate about wildlife and wild spaces, I’ve always been drawn to the spirit of exploration and discovery that travel inspires.

My fascination with Africa began in childhood, reading adventure stories that introduced me to this spellbinding continent. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong connection. After studying African history and international development at university, I travelled to Ghana – a move that launched nearly two decades living and working across Africa from Sierra Leone to Zambia. My career has been wonderfully varied, from humanitarian work to managing safari camps and lodges. Along the way I earned safari-guiding qualifications in South Africa, guided in Malawi, and took part in wildlife surveys and snare-removal operations. All these experiences have deepened my appreciation of Africa’s wildlife and the vital role tourism plays in protecting it.

In Africa, you feel the raw power of nature – from the vast savannahs to the great migrations, it is a continent alive with life
Sir David Attenborough

Despite loving bush life, I moved back to the UK to be closer to my family. Over the last ten years I’ve worked in the travel industry.
At heart, I love helping others experience the same sense of wonder, connection, and excitement that travel has always brought me – creating journeys that inspire a lifelong appreciation for the wild and the world.
