The return of the Savuti Channel waters

 

 

Nature’s great mystery... the Savuti Channel is famously ephemeral, drying and flowing periodically, the latter naturally bringing renewed life to the Linyanti ecosystem.


When the waters return, the landscape undergoes a dramatic transformation. Vegetation flourishes, birdlife increases, and wildlife congregates along the channel’s banks to take advantage of the abundance.
