Wilderness Conservation Heroes: Food relief round up 2024

As the Wilderness Drought-relief Nutrition Programme comes to an end, we reflect on the work that has been done.

Over three months, across four countries, our teams mobilised to deliver 8,000 food parcels to our partner communities, supporting more than 15,000 people facing severe food insecurity.

A truly monumental effort.

While some regions have received good rains, it will be some time before people can harvest, in order to support themselves again.

This relief programme has proven vital, and underlines our commitment, that Wilderness will always stand by its partners through the good times and the bad.
