Recognising our impact
Recognising our impact
The environment and its custodians will always be our first love here at Wilderness. They are the driving force behind everything we do. So to receive awards recognising Wilderness for our impactful tourism practices is simply further testament to our goal of doubling the amount of land we help protect by 2030 – having an even bigger impact on the world’s wildlife, wilderness, and local communities.

Five Flowers Award
Eco Awards Namibia is an external assessment organisation that completes an environmental audit on tourism establishments in line with the African certification scheme. The assessments take place every three years, with the awards ranging from 1 – 5 Flowers. The audit covers 10 categories, and to achieve 5 Flowers, the property must achieve a 90% average. These Flower Awards go to:

Wilderness Little Kulala
Little Kulala’s décor echoes the local geology, reflecting the surrounding grey and pink limestone that makes this part of Namibia so special. Spot desert-adapted wildlife such as ostriches, springbok, gemsbok, black-backed jackals, bat-eared foxes, perhaps an aardwolf, or Namibia’s endemic dune lark.
