Despite the restrictions of the last 18 months, and the inability of people to travel as before, we have been surprised and humbled to receive several Pack for a Purpose donations from those visitors who have managed to get to Zimbabwe.
Stationery, PPE, sports equipment, learning aids, and warm clothing are some of the items that have been sent through, all of which will be extremely useful for the beneficiaries as soon as we are able to distribute them.
Rural schools are in desperate need of all these items, especially stationery for students and teachers, and simple items such as pencils, pens, and paper, which make an enormous difference.
We are (im)patiently awaiting the reopening of schools so that we can undertake distributions again!
