The 29th annual World Travel Awards acknowledge, reward and celebrate tourism achievements and success across the industry. These esteemed awards bring tremendous awareness to our four decades of dedication to driving conservation and hospitality in Africa.

The World Travel Awards were presented to Wilderness at the Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2022, held on 15 October at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. Jesse Mathews, Wilderness Kenya Project Manager, attended the ceremony on our behalf and had this to say, “We are incredibly proud of these awards and the recognition from the industry which confirms our purpose to double the land under our protection by 2030. Together with all of our partners and guests, we stand as one collective responsible for increasing the world’s wilderness together. These awards are a testament to our positive impact on wildlife and communities and how our journeys make a real difference”.
