The Linyanti region boasts the world’s highest density of elephants, with the giants roaming the lush grass in the dry season and putting on a spectacular aquatic show during summer. DumaTau’s suites are placed right in front of the vast Osprey Lagoon, where you can spot herds of elephants and their young calves wading through (and playing in) the water. The region is also home to other iconic keystone species like hippos, wild dogs and lions, and is known as an Important Bird Area (IBA), offering spectacular birding year-round.
