We are extremely proud that DumaTau has been recognised as one of the best new hotels in the world in Condé Nast Traveler’s 26th edition of its Hot List. With only six properties included from all of Africa, DumaTau is also the only camp listed in Botswana – where Wilderness began almost four decades ago.
Each year, the magazine’s editorial team members “index the best, brightest openings”, and we are immensely grateful for their support and recognition of DumaTau. Special thanks to our esteemed media partner and friend, Paul Rubio, too, who visited the camp this past summer and shares his first-hand account of the trip in this June issue.
Nestled deep within the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, on the northernmost fringe of Botswana, lies DumaTau. With unique access to both the Linyanti River and Savuti Channel, the camp boasts an almost constant stream of elephants and other creatures passing by. The reserve’s diverse, pristine 95,000 acres offer truly exclusive excursions and close-up wildlife encounters.
