Private Guide Lucien Beaumont was guiding guests at Shumba Camp, situated in Zambia’s Kafue National Park, when his group came across this exceptional sighting… they were on a boat ride when they spotted the lioness up ahead. Lucien was able to anticipate the lioness’s next move, and quickly steadied his camera as she crouched low and then took a bold leap across the waters. The lioness managed to make it to the other side but not without getting her paws wet on landing!
