Botswana’s wilderness areas are remote and pristine. Paired with our low guest numbers at each camp, safaris here promise intimate encounters with iconic wildlife in some of Africa’s most important ecosystems. Add to this the fascinating contrasts between the Okavango Delta, the Linyanti Region, and the Mababe area, and it’s clear that Botswana is ideal for unforgettable travel experiences.

Our Botswana camps offer varying amenities, but you can always expect to find thoughtfully designed spaces that balance comfort with a deep sense of place. Amenities include spacious tented suites with indoor and outdoor showers, private decks with panoramic views, and bespoke furnishings inspired by the surrounding landscape. You can also expect plunge pools, wellness treatments, and private dining at select camps. 

Wilderness DumaTau has its own dedicated wellness space, Osprey Retreat, with a tranquil view over Osprey Lagoon, where you can choose from a range of massages and beauty treatments, or make use of the fully-equipped gym.

The Sanctuary at Wilderness Mombo is another dedicated wellness space that complements the grounding experience of your Mombo safari, with its own fully equipped gym, lap pool, saunas, cold-immersion facilities, and treatment rooms. The Sanctuary offers a range of facials, massages and healing therapies inspired by African traditions, brought to you by two leading wellness brands: TheraNaka and Esse. 

Beyond the classic Botswana experiences like mokoro, boating, and game drives, there are exclusive experiences like sleeping in our Star Beds, helicopter excursions, and private dining. Some of our Botswana camps also offer seasonal walking safaris and night drives for a different perspective on the wild. Private barge and boating trips in the Okavango and Linyanti regions are particularly memorable.

For peak season (roughly May to August across Botswana), we recommend booking at least a year in advance.

All of our camps will happily accommodate any dietary requirements you may have. Simply advise your agent or one of our staff ahead of your trip and everything will be taken care of. We will also reach out to you once your trip is booked to ensure your needs will be catered for.

Most of our camps will have a 2-pin or 3-pin input available to plug in your devices. However, it’s best to speak to our staff in advance to let us know what kind of connecter your device requires. We will then communicate with the camp to ensure that we can accommodate your request.
